New Gumps Added W/New Loader in the Downloads section.
VIP Cards added but system not 100% complete.
Item mall fishing added
Bone Crafting works but system is not 100% complete as per no monsters drop bone but item mall. (Ability needs worked over)
Drelgor added into server from osi
Daily gift system no longer gives Dye Tubs. It now also Gives XP Pots from different ranges.
Safe Res Tokens now weigh 0 stones.
Plant cure pots no longer delete the whole stack when you use one.
Updates the Arena System. Now cost 25k to go into the arena to fight the gauntlet as well as 50 more levels added.
Implemented a new arena point system that will now store the top fighters on the list.(List Not Made Yet)
You can no longer bring pets into the arena nor can you unshrink them or [getpet to bring them into it. Was meant to be a solo thing not pets.
Added new bank slot deeds that will allow player to increase there bank from 125 all the way to 525 items.(Not buy able yet)
Fixed issue with Shadow Wyrms not loosing stats when tamed.

Account Clean Up/Updates

December 30th 2011:
Since the Skill/Stat Gains continue to be Dead Locked at Lower/Raise there will be no change to it.Accelerated gains will stay as they are.
We have wiped out all old accounts and inactive accounts that have not been logged into for 60 days. So if you have not logged into your Web site account in the last 2 months then it is gone and you will have to re register.
Game accounts have been removed that where inactive/90 days old.

December 15th Patch Session

New/Fix's
Shadow Wyrms are now tamable for 4 control slots and require 100 Taming.
Bone armor can now be salvaged for bones. There is a new menu on the salvage bag that says USE.
Treasure Hunter Points can now be spent at the Treasure Hunter Reward Stone in the information center.
Item Mall Repair deeds where added to the Im stones. they will repair any item to 5000/5000 durability.
The Ore Rocks in the in information center now give skill gains.
Tracking skill has been over hauled to allow players past 100 as well as track further away.
The Arena has been updated... Next patch there will be a 25k gold entry fee added.
XP Potions where added into the server. All monster drop xp pots when you kill them from Small - X-Large.
SantaVille was opened to all players and a few items fixed/Updated.
Automated Jail system was added for public chat and naughty/foul language.

After the 1st the Thanksgiving rewards will be turned off....
2 new tamable creatures where added into the server.

Fixed the druid spell (Trees) to not be so over powered.

Ilshenar News

As many of you may be aware we have been trying to cram in new content as fast as we can. We have been aiming to have our major updates done on the 1st and 15th of the month. Often times we do them at night anyway when only 1-2 players are online. TOday is one of those times are are going to break that rule.
Ilshenar is gone. We are replacing it with a replica/custom map. All of the Ilshenar exclusive mobs are scattered around Trammel. Finding them is your job. For the time being Ilshenar is closed off while we build it up and add what we want in here. Expect a few throw backs from old Ultima games and some new quests unique to fantasy gate. We absolutely do not borrow or steal cookie cutter crap quests from other shards or scripting forums.
A few other questions have been posed. There are the answers so players will stop asking.
When will Fantasy Gate get Gold Ledgers in?
Never. Gold belongs in a bank for insurance and the up coming tax system. We are not going to rewrite the insurance system or the tax system we have half done to account for an economy damaging and unbalancing item such as Gold Ledgers. In fact there exists a (small) chance that Token Ledgers will be removed later in favor of a more hands on less "cheated" economy.
Will a cross breeding style bioengineering system be added?
No. Pets are already very very powerful with the old generic leveling system. We will not have you cross breeding your Cu Sidhe with a greater dragon anytime soon.
When will voting stones be put in?
Some time this week a general web stone will be put in which will double for a voting stone.

Ran into a little snag on a few scripts that where uploaded this morning. I have been working on them and the server should be back up in a few minutes. Sorry for the wait.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

The Good
We have sound a much cheaper way to get the server up and running. 45 dollars a month is all it will cost.
The new server, as always with us, will work with the latest clients. No old patches. We keep up to date because we are NOT lazy.
From now until the 15th any that donate 20 dollars will get 7 120 power scrolls of their choosing. 500 stat points for their character (320/350 is the best you can get otherwise) 840 skill points how ever you want them and any prefabricated house of your choosing at any location except Ter Mur and Ilshenar. Players who do this will also get priority access to our test server as well. As an added bonus we will give 2,500 IM coins ANd lastly a 5 million gold check.. THis all adds up to about 5 times the reward plus a few things that cannot be gotten otherwise.
The Bad
We are also going to be taking the server enhancements a step further. This means a new server is going to be launched independent of the current one. The old server will be packed up and sent to me. This means when you log in you will have a brand new account and all of your stuff will be gone. However players that contact me and can give me your old account name and password will allow me to recover all your lost stuff. If you cannot recall your old username and password there is no way for you to have gotten your stuff back anyway.
The Ugly
On the 15th of November any forum accounts that have zero posts will be deleted along with any donation records. Our original promise to players was that those who stuck with us we will reward when we come back online for their loyalty. The conditions of that reward was for player to continue to post on forums or talk with us over Skype or anything else to maintain contact. Absolutely nobody did so. We bear no grudge and will stll reward those who did come back in response to the half dozen emails I have sent int he last two weeks.
However. Those who have NOT posted on the forums by the 15th will be forgotten and we will move on without them.
Be sure to share this information with your friends. This email is going to be copied onto the website as well. As such there will be no excuses for anyone to not be aware of it.

Rebirth

PK and I are working on getting fantasy gate back up. Very sorry it took so long but Murphy's law (the only supernatural force I believe in) dumped us both a huge bag of bad luck all at once. We have both been virtually out of commission for several months.
We intend to get the server back up and running this very week *IF* we get the donations we need. We need 80 dollars to open the door. I personally plan to drop $20 into the pot in the next 24-48 hours.
Any donations given between now and 11:59 on the 29th of October will be rewarded in triple.
Any donations between 12:00am the 30th and Thanks Giving (November 24th for our international players) will be doubled. November 25th we resume normal rates.
We have huge plans. With PK now actually at home partially retired he will have reasonably more time. His time will be further enhanced by the fact i have finished one web design degree and am starting on a second. That naturally means I will be taking over a significantly larger portion of the website's maintenance.
If we do not get the donations this week to start before this weekend then we will be starting with a new server. As such we will reward returning veterans with 500+50% of their previous donations. If we start this week then we will not be refunding IM since you will have all your old items back.
Regardless of which route we go we have tons of plans so do not come here expecting the same old UO experience from the last 15 years. How we go about implementing out plans will be determined by you over the next 6 days. For more information get your hind parts over to the forums and say hello!
